Queer historical romances are some of my favourite stories; I love exploring history or moments in time with a queer lens. Today, The Quiet Pond has the privilege of sharing with you all an exclusive cover reveal for Of Trust and Heart by Charlotte Anne Hamilton, a new adult sapphic historical romance. I’m so looking forward to this queer romance, friends, and I cannot wait for you all to behold its gorgeous book cover.
When I read the synopsis for Of Trust and Heart, I fell in love instantly. Set in the 1920s during the Prohibition era, Of Trust and Heart promises a seductive and compelling romance between an heiress and a singer at a speakeasy. And although illustrated book covers have a place in my heart, seeing two queer girls front and center also has my heart aflutter. I’m so excited that I get to help Charlotte share her book’s cover with you all today.
Here is the book’s summary:
The Great War changed everything for Lady Harriet Cunningham. Instead of being presented at eighteen, she trained to be a nurse and shared forbidden kisses with her colleagues.
But now in 1923, at the age of 24, Harriet is facing spinsterhood.

Charlotte Anne Hamilton is a blue-haired mermaid-wannabe who lives in Ayrshire, Scotland with her two fur-children, Izzy (chocolate lab) and Smudge (queen cat). She is currently studying Astronomy and Planetary Science and in her spare time she enjoys reading and gaming, as well as dabbling in all forms of art and her craft as an eclectic witch.
